AV receiver that provides all latest audio formats, it possesses high connectivity, well integrated with iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch. Has the ability to access to internet radio and DLNA streaming and the first to support Apple AirPlay. The AVR 3311 CI has the largest display design of the AV receiver , it has little more curvaceous body. Only a few buttons with two knobs for input selection and volume control with small switches for Zone sources. Underneath the front exterior flap hides the USB input and HDMI port combined with menu button and a D-pad for the rest of the functionality. It conveniently has two remotes for the two different zones plus they glow in the dark for easy locating.
The display are full color user interface. (IU) it supports 3D pass-through an increasingly popular feature which means an enhance experience when watching 3D movies. According to the manufacturer it is the first to support Apple AirPlay enable for iPod Touch, iPhone/iPad allowing direct streaming from Handheld sets.
It is compatible with Apple TV. Being very versatile it is highly connective by having Denon Ethernet port access to internet radio, Flickr and DLNA. For people in the US the have access to both Rhapsody and Napster. The Denon AVR 3311 CI runs on the Audssey setup.
